The team is me and  my camera and possibly you and your camera , a car and the good mood and smiling faces heading to the south coast of Iceland and or the Reykjanes penisula

Some facts about the country

Iceland is a Nordic European island country situated at the confluence of the North Atlantic and Arctic Oceans, on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. The country has a population of about 320,000 and a total area of 103,000 km2. The capital and largest city is Reykjavík. The nation's capital is the most northern capital in the world. Iceland is volcanically and geologically active. 



Some facts about Icelanders:

we eat lamb's testicles and fermented shark and even the sheeps head but we also have the best hot dogs in the world.  We have our own Santa Claus  and not just one but twelve.  We bath in the ice cold sea because we believe it makes us stronger and more beautiful. We go crazy on New Years Eve and spend all our money on fireworks and go nuts.  We do have our own beer and believe its the best one in the world.  We stand in a queue on Fridays in a special state-owned liquor stores named ÁTVR because they dont sell alcholol in the grocery shops.  Icelanders love their easter eggs and the chocolate factory people are working day and night to be able to deliver us all the eggs before easter.  Every Icelander has so called lopapeysa, the special icelandic wool sweater.  Björk and Sigurrós belong to us and we think we are the coolest, as simple as that !
